ArtSparks is DreamSpire’s weekly collaborative art program where kids and teens explore creativity, connection, and artistic expression. From March through June, participants meet each week for 1.5 hours to experiment with new mediums, develop individual art pieces, and work together on large-scale collaborative projects — all leading toward a community art show in June.
This is more than an art class. It’s a creative journey where young artists learn, grow, and build something meaningful together.
What Happens in ArtSparks
Each week, students will:
• Explore a variety of art mediums and techniques
• Experiment with painting, sculpture, mixed media, and design
• Create individual artwork that reflects their unique style
• Collaborate on group installations and shared pieces
• Learn how to plan, design, and curate an art exhibition
• Work together to build a unified and original community art show
Projects are designed to be engaging, hands-on, and process-focused — encouraging exploration over perfection.
